Le coucou a la particularité de se servir du nid d’autres espèces pour y déposer ses oeufs. Il a même la faculté d’imiter les oeufs correspondants à l’espèce du nid choisi , les autres oiseaux vont alors les couver comme les leurs. Après éclosion, l’oisillon coucou va rejeter les autres œufs du nid, ou les autres oisillons, en les jetant par dessus bord.
Attention les coucous peuvent apparaître à tout moment.

The cuckoo has the peculiarity to use the nest of the other species to deposit its eggs. It has even the faculty to imitate eggs corresponding to the species of the chosen nest, the other birds are going to sit on them as theirs. After hatching, the young bird cuckoo is going to reject the other eggs, or the other young birds, by throwing them outside of the nest.
Beware cuckoos can appear at any time.

Le projet SynchroniCity a été lancé en septembre 2010 sur notre précédente plate-forme AIRE Ville Spatiale sur Second Life. Ce projet continue ici. Créez votre personnage et participez à des performances et créations interactives qui se dérouleront sur de nombreux supports : environnements virtuels 3D, réseaux sociaux, téléphone portable… Des séquences vidéos seront réalisées lors de chaque événement et Synchronicity aura pour finalité un film long métrage qui retracera toute l’histoire que vous aurez créée.

Synchronicity est un projet transdiciplinaire proposé par Marc Blieux.

Le film (1ere partie) et la création virtuelle 3D seront exposés lors du festival Vidéoformes 2012.

AIRE Ville Spatiale a été lancé le 18 septembre 2009. La Ville s’est construite par ajouts successifs, au hasard des rencontres réalisées sur la plateforme Second Life. Les nombreuses expositions, concerts, débats, créations ponctuelles ou plus permanentes, ont permis d’en construire les fondations, la première couche d’un territoire virtuel subjectif.

Mais AIRE Ville Spatiale a été pensé dès le départ comme un laboratoire d’expériences : un autre modèle économique et social est-il possible ? Nous pouvons à présent passer à cette deuxième phase du projet, c’est ce que nous proposons aux artistes et à tous ceux qui souhaitent y participer.

Cette deuxième phase s’appelle SynchroniCity.

Elle fait plus particulièrement suite à l’exposition l’Axe de Schrödinger de mars 2010 sur la Ville Spatiale. Cette exposition s’appuyait sur différentes créations architecturales de la ville et a rassemblé 10 artistes internationaux :

« Cet ensemble architectural et artistique est comme une mécanique, dont la tour gigantesque striée de noir qui s’encastre au sol dans la Ville, serait l’axe central. Le dôme géodésique, se déplace lentement autour de cet axe et le musée de Chris Marker en est une planète ou un satellite. Tour, Echelle, Jetée ? Celle qui nous emmène dans l’esprit d’un homme, qui, suite à une catastrophe nucléaire, est chargé de revenir dans le passé par le souvenir d’une image d’enfance. Une histoire de chat aussi. Celui de Schrödinger*. Une expérience de pensée encore. Un chat, qui serait à la fois mort et vivant si la boite dans laquelle il se trouve n’est pas ouverte. Paradoxale physique quantique qui nous dit que la réalité perçue à notre échelle n’est en fait que de l’énergie concentrée au niveau de l’infiniment petit. Un axe, comme une boite de Schrödinger, un passage vers d’autres espaces temps, d’autres niveaux de conscience et d’énergie. »

SynchroniCity ouvrira donc à ces autres niveaux.

Pour y accéder :

– Nous proposons aux participants un mode de création collaboratif. Il ne s’agira pas d’une exposition collective dans le sens où elle regrouperait des œuvres personnelles présentées les unes à côté des autres mais bien la construction d’une œuvre unique où chacun apportera une « brique ». Un artiste pourra proposer un projet, une création, mais en posant cette création il acceptera , si l’oeuvre est destinée à être permanente, à ce que d’autres artistes interviennent sur celle-ci, ajoute un élément, la modifie, en fonction des droits que l’artiste original aura donné, dans un processus d’exponentialisation… Il n’y aura pas d’œuvre isolée afin d’aller au delà des espaces habituels de représentation, comme l’a écrit Brian O‘Doherty, Inside the white cube « l’œuvre est isolée de tout ce qui pourrait nuire à son auto évaluation. Cela donne à cet espace une présence qui est le propre des espaces où les conventions sont préservées par la répétition d‘un système de valeurs clos ». Cependant chaque créateur sera bien identifié ainsi que chaque contributeur successif

– Un mode de représentation transmedia et transespace

Cette oeuvre ne sera pas figée dans une représentation limitée à un espace / temps. Elle sera évolutive en fonction des rencontres et des participations.

Toutes les personnes qui seront « en contact » du projet y seront intégrés. C’est-à-dire non seulement les artistes participants mais également, par exemple, les responsables des structures qui présenteront ou aideront la réalisation du projet. De la même façon les lieux traversés, modifieront formellement le projet qui rendra compte de ces « flux de subjectivité ».

La Ville Spatiale avec ses plateaux formant un système de grilles viendra se superposer, par moment, à l’espace réel.

Elle existera simultanément sur différents supports : environnements virtuels 3D, téléphones portables, réalité augmentée, etc.

Des courts métrages seront réalisés au fur et à mesure de l’avancement du projet. Ils pourront exister et être montré séparément, mais leur finalité sera d’être assemblés pour créer un long métrage.

Chaque artiste ou participant pourra lui aussi organiser un évènement autour du projet.

Synchronicity project was created in September 2010 on our previous platform AIRE Ville Spatiale based in Second Life. This project continues here. Most articles referring to it the previous site have been reproduced here, which explains their publication date subsequent to the opening of the platform AIRE Mille Flux in May 212. Some creations could not be transferred to our new 3D platform. Links point on precedent website of AIRE.

SynchroniCity will be presented during the “European Heritage Days” the September Journées Européennes du Patrimoine 17th and 18th in Moulins (France) ”.

SynchroniCity will be presented during the festival of digital art Desert Numerique of Saint-Nazaire-le-Désert, Drome, in France, from Monday 27th of June to Sunday 3rd of July.

AIRE Ville Spatiale opened on the 18th of september, 2009. This city built itself by successive additions, at random meetings realized on Second Life plateform. The numerous exhibitions, concerts, debates, punctual or more permanent creations, allowed to build the city’s foundations, the first layer of a subjective virtual territory. But AIRE Ville Spatiale was thought from the beginning as a laboratory of experiments: is another economic and social model possible? We can pass at the moment in the second phase of the project : it is what we propose to the artists and to all those who wish to participate in it.

This second phase is called SynchroniCity. Its duration is fixed in one year.

It more particularly follows the exhibition “the Axis of Schrödinger” of March, 2010 on “Ville Spatiale”. This exhibition leaned on various architectural creations of the city and collected 10 international artists:

» This architectural and artistic ensemble is like a mechanics, which gigantic tower streaked with black fits into the city’s ground, would be the central axis. The geodesic dome, moves slowly around this axis and Chris Marker’s museum is a planet or a satellite. Tower, Scale, Pier? The one who takes us inside the mind of a man, who, further to a nuclear disaster, is in charge of returning in past by the memory of a childhood image. A story of a cat also. Schrödinger’s cat*. An experiment of thought still. A cat, which would have die and also stay alive, if the limps in which it is is not opened. Paradoxical quantum physics which says us that the reality perceived in our ladder is in fact only the energy concentrated at the infinitesimal level. An axis, like Schrödinger limp, a passage towards other spaces time, toward other levels of consciousness and energy. »

SynchroniCity will open to these other levels.

To reach it:

– We propose to the participants a collaborative mode of creation. It will not be a collective exhibition in sense that it would include personal works presented next to the others, but indeed the construction of a unique work where each will bring a « brick ». An artist can propose a project, a creation, but with this creation he will accept, if the work is intended to be permanent, that the other artists can intervene on his creation, adds an element, modifie it, according to the rights that the original artist will have given, in a process of exponentialisation… There will be no isolated work in order to go beyond the usual spaces of representation, as wrote it Brian O’ Doherty, in Inside the white: “work is isolated by all that could damage its self-assessment. It gives to this space a presence which is the own of the spaces where the conventions are protected by the repetition of a closed value system « . However every creator will be identified as well as every successive contributors.

– A mode of representation multimedia and trans-network

This work will not be congealed in a representation limited to a space-time. It will develop according to the meetings and the participations.

All the persons who will be » in contact » of the project will be integrated. That is not only the participating artists but also, for example, the persons in charge of the structures who will present or will help in the realization of the project. In the same way the crossed places, will modify formally the project, which will report these « flows of subjectivity ».

The Spatial City with its trays forming a system of railings will come to overlap, by moment, in the real space.

It will exist simultaneously on various supports: 3D virtual environments, mobile phones, increased reality, etc.

Short films will be realized according to the project progress. They can exist and be shown separately, but their end will be to be assembled in order to create a feature film.

Every artist or participant can organize an event around the project or present SynchroniCity in a festival.
